3-ingredient berry chia jam recipe

the simpler the better! at least in this case—using simple, whole ingredients is so much better for us and in this case, is so much easier!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tbsp chia seeds

    • high in fiber, and suggested to aid in heart health.

  • 3 c. berries :: your choice of berry + can use fresh or frozen // we used a frozen berry medley

    • rich in antioxidants, and provide potassium, magnesium, vitamins C and K, fiber, and prebiotics. a true superfood!

  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

    • a natural sweetener that is rich in riboflavin (B2) which helps keep our skin, eyes, and nervous system healthy.

INSTRUCTIONS

combine all listed ingredients into a medium stovetop pot. turn your stove on medium heat and allow your frozen fruit (if using) to break down. stirring occasionally until your fruit is melted. once your fruit is all melted and becomes jam-like, you’re all done! allow the mixture to cool. once cool, transfer to an airtight glass jar. use in place of your favorite jam on toast, scones, a good PB&J, and whatever else you’d like!

hope you enjoy :-)
