easy + delicious brie appetizer!

this is one of our favorite dishes to bring as an appetizer to get-togethers. it’s super easy to make, has few ingredients, and always a hit! this may not be our most nutritious recipe but, as always, everything is healthy in moderation and this is a recipe we genuinely enjoy and make often for gatherings.

INGREDIENTS

Protein

  • 1/4 c. walnuts

  • 1/4 c. pecans

Fat

  • 1 wheel of brie cheese

Carbs

  • crescent roll dough

Spice

  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 Tbsp brown or coconut sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

you get a wheel of brie, and crescent roll dough, brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped nuts of your choosing—I like to use walnuts and pecans.

preheat your oven per the doughs instructions. get a baking sheet and put down parchment paper. put the brie in the center of the tray/parchment paper. take a knife and make 1/2 inch cuts in the brie, going both vertically and horizontally.

unroll the crescent roll dough and ignore any pre-made perforations and essentially roll it into a snake and then wrap around the brie. press the dough to connect it together.

then layer brown sugar and cinnamon all over the top of the brie and dough. next add the nuts.

bake for however long the dough calls for :)

pull the baked croissant dough and dip it into the brie and enjoy!

we hope you enjoy ♥️
