Carbs
5 small heads of Broccoli
1/2 of a Purple Onion
3 c. of halved Green Grapes
Jalapeno (amount changes based on how spicy you like it!)
The Sauce — because it’s all about the sauce!
Fats
1/2 c. Primal Kitchen Avocado Mayo
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Spice
1/3 c. Dijon Mustard
1/3 c. Apple Cider Vinegar
4 Lemons : squeezed
1/2 tsp. Cumin
1/2 tsp. Turmeric
Salt & Pepper to taste
Here are some tips so you can cater this slaw to your liking:
If you like a more tangy slaw add more ACV & lemon.
If you like it creamy, add more mayo.
Don’t want the extra fat? Leave out the EVOO.
If you like a more crunchy broccoli, add less lemon.
If you like to kick it up a notch you can add more mustard or even some jalapenos if you like it really spicy!
